Muscle Energy Techniques are a form of a manual therapy in which a patient’s muscles are actively used on request, from a precisely controlled position, in a specific direction, and against a counterforce.

SOFT TISSUE RELEASE

An advanced manual technique used in assessing and stretching soft tissue. It targets specific areas of increased tension within a muscle and also muscles that are normally difficult to stretch.

TRIGGER POINTS/NEUROMUSCULAR TECHNIQUES

Neuromuscular/trigger point techniques are used to treat excessively toned, or tight muscle.
It involves applying deep forced pressure to local areas of tense soft tissue.
